Spend time in Tehachapi Central Park at the Mountain Festival. Numerous artist and craftsmen will be displaying their wares at the Arts and Crafts Show. Ethnic and American food and drink will be offered and the gazebo will host various musical groups throughout the day. Bring a chair or a blanket so you can relax on the lawn as you enjoy all of these activities.

The Tehachapi Gandy Dancers will hold their annual "Dance Under The Stars" Square Dance with Rounds on Saturday evening Aug. 18, 2012.
The caller is Dick Hodenfeild and the cuers are Chuck & Doreene Ball.
The dance is held at the Outdoor Hockey Rink at corner of East Tehachapi Blvd. & Snyder St. A map link is listed below. Evenings at 4000 feet are cool, so bring a light wrap for between the Square Dance tips.
